The Edge retreat was this weekend. It was a great time! Chris, who was one of the two non-Christians that came with us, accepted Jesus on Saturday night. God is so faithful how He answered our prayers about him and how He answered Chris' questions and concerns. Yeah God! Also, two good friends, Megan and Jeff, got engaged! This also happened on Saturday so it was an overwhelming day. To add to the excitement, we were at this place called Narnia, which a bunch of big rocks and stuff. Ryan and I were on top of one and I asked him how to get down. He said, "grab this tree and swing yourself down." As he did this, the tree broke, and he went crashing down 7 feet and landed on his back. His arm hit a rock, causing him to think it may be broken. His thumb went numb and his elbow got sooo swollen. He then went in shock so we had to sit for awhile. Once he seemed better we had to hike 1.5 miles back out of the woods, and take him to the emergency room in St. Ignace. Luckily it wasn't broken but he has to keep it wrapped up in a sling for a week. Poor boy. Now I can call him gimpy because with one arm you can't do much. I have to put deodorant on for him. :) Oh, and I got to take a sauna on Saturday and jump in a freezing lake twice. Finns are so smart! I love saunas!
